Arts and crafts enthusiasts in and around Gilford, New Hampshire, are in luck, because a brand new Michael's location is opening on November 12 at Lake Shore Marketplace!

Michaels is inviting the Gilford community to their grand opening event on Saturday, November 12, at 9am. There will be local food trucks to enjoy along with giveaways, a bounce house, a yarn demo, face painting, and Make n Take crafts. Kevin Hayes, Chair of the Board of Selectman, Scott Dunn, Town Administrator, and the Gilford Fire Crew will also be in attendance.

This new Michaels location will bring lots of full-time and part-time jobs to the Gilford community! The new store is a sleeker, simpler Michaels featuring self-checkout registers, a Michaels Custom Framing center, and a curated assortment of the most popular supplies across arts, crafts, framing, floral, kids’ crafts, DIY, yarn, beading, and scrapbooking.

 Kris Howe, Store Manager, said:

“I am so excited we’re opening a new Michaels in Gilford! With our team being local themselves, we are all thrilled to offer the best of Michaels to Gilford’s creative community of Makers, teachers, small business owners and more. Everyone is welcome at our craft table!”
