You know, I really feel for parents these days.
I mean, I never had an Elf on the Shelf growing up. That was not a thing. Elfie wasn't around. Parents had one guy to deal with: Santa Claus.
The creativity, the production, the behind-the-scenes that goes into an epic elf on the shelf creation takes time. And around the holidays, you know what you don't have to begin with? Excess time!
That said, Elf on the Shelf has made a lot of amazing Christmas memories for millions of kids and their parents.
I mean, at this point, I am already saving hilarious, previously completed creations to build my arsenal of endless Elfie ideas.
That's what you have to do. You have to store up ideas over and over. Because once you have a little one, you need a new Elf on the Shelf creation 25-30 days of the year, every year, with no repeats.
So, I did something selfish. Well, I did it for me and you.
I wanted to find the 25 best Elf on the Shelf ideas, but I did not want to simply Google it. I wanted to shout out or own. In our community. We have some brilliant people here in New England.
Plus, I was curious to see if there were any New England-specific ideas like skiing, leaf peeping, etc.
There were so many entries. I mean, hundreds of phenomenal ideas. Many were similar, with variations of the same concept.
One thing I have come to terms with is that the more props, the better. Adding something that Elfie interacts with is just a 10/10 move.
It unfortunately requires more prep work and more creative thinking, but that's why you are here.
Check out the best Elf on the Shelf creations from New England families. Save them for Christmas 2023.
