When it comes to pizza, New Englanders know a lot.  We have the North End in Boston for authenticity, and many transplants from the Mediterranean who've settled in small towns to create delicious, one-of-a-kind pizza experiences.

When The Daily Meal recently released its list of the top pizza joints across the country, I was delighted to learn this did not include any chains or franchises, but small, local pizza shops that love making customers happy.

The site scoured Yelp reviews and foodie sites to collect a massive list of the best pizza spots all across the country.

If you live in the Granite State, it should be no surprise to read about one pizza place that stood out not only in the 603, but the entire USA.  That's quite an accomplishment, considering how many small pizza shops there are in the country.

Think about it.  There are at least two or three in every small town, and if you live in a city, forget about it.

Here's a big shoutout to Tilton House of Pizza, in Tilton, New Hampshire, for being named among the best 40 pizza shops in America, and the #1 spot in New Hampshire for pizza.
