Watch a Whale Lay the Smack Down on a Boat Off the Massachusetts Coast

Whales have been spotted off Plymouth, Massachusetts coast

Over the last couple of weeks, multiple whales have been spotted in the same general area off of the Plymouth, Massachusetts coast. Almost one full week ago, video was captured of a whale breaching the water line off the coast of Plymouth, Massachusetts in close proximity to a nearby paddleboarder.

Thankfully, that paddleboarder was safe and sound without any issue or incident. Then, just a few days later, drone footage captured in the same area off the coast of Plymouth showed a massive humpback whale living its best life, breaching and diving through the open waters.

A whale accidentally attacked a boat in Plymouth

Over the weekend, in that same location just off the coast of Plymouth, surrounded by multiple boats due to the intense heat wave New England has been experiencing all week long, a whale was spotted once again; however, it wasn't as problem-free as the previous two sightings within the last couple of weeks. Much like the previous times, a whale -- unknown whether it was the same as either of the previous sightings -- once again breached.

However, this time, unbeknownst to the whale and also the two humans on a boat in the exact location where the whale was breaching, the whale came crashing down onto the boat, dipping the back half of it into the water, completely submerging it below the top of the water line.

Almost as instantly as the boat was landed on and submerged by the whale, the boat popped back up without capsizing and, most importantly, with the two humans onboard safe and sound. The whale disappeared beneath the water line after landing on the boat, and was not seen again.
