Be prepared to stay hot and sticky one more night.

Meteorologist Greg Cornwell of the National Weather Service in Gray, Maine, said on Friday morning that the high temperatures will linger into Saturday and then a cold front will move through which will help with the heat and humidity.

There is a heat advisory in Dover until 8 p.m. on Friday.

On Saturday, there is a 40 percent chance of thunderstorms.

Sunday is the pick of the weekend. It will be sunny and temperatures will be in the low 80s.

"Sunday will be feeling pretty nice," Cornwell said.

Cornwell said it is predicted to be warm out next week, but he does not expect it to be nearly as hot and humid as it was this week.
