$5,000 Reward Offered for Tips About Concord, NH, Couple’s Murder
A $5,000 reward has been posted for information leading the arrest and indictment of whoever was responsible for the deaths of a Concord couple while they walked on a trail.
Concord police said they have received over 130 tips about the murders of Stephen Reid, 67, and wife Djeswende Reid, 66, who were found shot to death on the Broken Ground Trails on April 19.
"It is crucial that any person who has any information regarding these murders report to the police what information is known to them, no matter how inconsequential the person believes the information may be," Attorney General John M. Formella said in a statement.
Law enforcement is specifically looking for dash camera video from vehicles driving on Loudon Road. Formella said investigators also want to speak with anyone who was hiking or biking in the Broken Ground Trails area on Sunday, April 17, Monday, April 18, or Tuesday, April 19, 2022, in particular on the Marsh Loop Trail, or any other trails in the Broken Ground Trails area.
Investigators also asked anyone who left a tip on the Concord Crimeline website to check the site by clicking 'review/update tip'. Police asked for additional information about a number of tips they received, and because tips are left anonymously, the website is the only means of communication.
Tips can be left at the website, by calling 603-226-3100, or by texting TIP234 and your message to CRIMES (274637).
The reward is for information that leads to the arrest and indictment of those responsible.
