Signs of outdoor dining have returned on the Seacoast.

Last Spring and Summer was pretty epic on the outdoor dining front. My husband and I pride ourselves in the fact that we tried just about every restaurant that offers outdoor dining in Portsmouth. Our favorite setup you ask? DEFINITELY the Gas Light. It feels like you are dining in a mystical magical garden. My one qualm is that you can't sit outside and order pizza from the pizza pub downstairs. You have to eat pizza inside. In the words of Jerry Seinfeld, "What is the deal with that?"

Another one of our absolute favs is the Black Birch in Kittery. Their outdoor setup is just heavenly with plenty of heaters to keep you nice and toasty, string lights, and their menu is one of my favorites. Did I mention their playlist is killer? They play vintage vinyl records which really kicks the ambiance up a notch. They announced on Facebook that they are open for BIDNESS starting this weekend! Oh, what a time to be alive!

I took the liberty of checking out the menu for you. It appears the falafel burger is still available as well as the always delicious and nutritious grilled cheese and tomato soup. For apps I usually go with deviled eggs three ways or polenta fries.

Easter is this Sunday and I know you don't want to cook tonight so head out and TREAT YO'SELF to a delicious dinner in downtown Kittery. Don't forget to follow and like The Black Birch on Facebook!
