Are diners a thing of the past? Jeez I hope not! There is truly nothing like being sat by a sassy waitress at 1 am and having the option of ordering eggs benedict, Reuben sandwich, or whatever else your little heart desires!

Rogers Redliner Diner is a restored diner from the 1950s. It was most recently located on Lafayette Rd in Portsmouth near Water Country, but according to their Facebook, it spent most of its life in Dover, New Hampshire.

Rogers, like many other restaurants and diners, has had its fair share of struggles during the pandemic. The owner took to the Seacoast Eats Facebook page to share the sad news that they will not be renewing their lease, and thanked their many patrons through the years for the love and support.

People flooded the comments with kind words about the diner and memories they made there. It is clear the burgers, fries, and strawberry frappes from Roger's will be sorely missed by the Seacoast community.

The diner is for sale if you know anyone who might be interested. The hope is that someone will move it to a new home in the area.

To those inquiring about the price, the owner said:

"the diner is currently for sale for 75K, they have 400K invested. It would need to be attached to a kitchen. It's a true showpiece, probably the nicest Diner in America. "

If you know anyone who might be interested, they are urged to contact Roger at Roger@MeAndOllies.com
