If you've ever spent time in or near the Berkshires in Massachusetts during the summer months, you've probably heard of the Boston Symphony Orchestra's annual seasons at Tanglewood.

Described as "one of the world’s most beloved music festivals", Tanglewood brings in over 350,000 annual attendees to the Berkshires, according to the BSO's website. Each season at Tanglewood "offers not only a vast quantity of music, but also a vast range of musical forms and styles, all of it presented with a regard for artistic excellence that makes the festival unique." One could say it's like Jacob's Pillow, but for music.

Now, it's time to get excited, because the BSO has officially released the Tanglewood 2023 schedule.

The orchestra's website dives deeper into the who, what, where, and when when it comes to the acts coming to Massachusetts this summer. Besides symphonic concerts, there will be performances by bands, string quartets, chamber musicians, and countless other guests artists. Additionally, visitors will be able to enjoy recitals and seminars, and have enriching and memorable experiences with the Berkshires serving as a natural scenic backdrop.

We don't doubt that the BSO will have a successful Tanglewood 2023 season, and wish them all the best as they get ready for a summer of fun, festivities, and most importantly, music.
