Details About Jill Biden’s Visit to Maine, NH Released
White House officials have released the details of First Lady Jill Biden's visit to Portland, Maine, and Portsmouth, NH.
Biden will be in the two states on Saturday as part of the administration’s nationwide “America’s Back Together” tour to celebrate the country’s progress in the fight against the COVID-19 virus.
At 1:15 p.m., Biden will arrive at Portland International Jetport in Maine.
At 1:45 p.m. Biden will visit a local park with Gov. Janet Mills and U.S. Rep. Chellie Pingree, D-Maine.
At 4 p.m., Biden will arrive at Portsmouth International Airport at Pease in Portsmouth, NH, where she will greet members of the New Hampshire National Guard and their families.
At 5:15 p.m., Biden will attend a neighborhood barbeque with U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, D-NH, and Maggie Hassan, D-NH, at a private residence in Portsmouth, NH.
At 6:30 p.m., Biden will depart Portsmouth International Airport at Pease in Portsmouth.
There has been much speculation as to what Biden will be doing during her visit, but she has been promoting COVID-19 vaccines, posting on Wednesday this video to social media:
