You could have visions of winning Mega Millions tickets dancing in your head, as the Mega Millions jackpot has grown to an annuity value of $510 million ($266.8 million cash).

No one has matched all five white balls and the Mega Ball to claim the jackpot in the 19 drawings since October 14, sending the annuity jackpot to its 11th highest in the game's history.

The next drawing is Friday night at 11 p.m.

“I cannot think of a better way to celebrate Christmas and the entire holiday season than by winning this $510 million Mega Millions jackpot Friday night,” NH Lottery Executive Director Charlie McIntyre said in a statement. “We are happy to be able to gift our New Hampshire players this amazing opportunity during such an amazing time of the year."

The largest jackpot ever offered by an American lottery was sold in California on November 8. It had a jackpot of $2.04 billion ($997.6 million cash).

A ticket worth $1 million during the run-up to a Mega Millions jackpot with an annuity value of $1.2 billion for the July 19 drawing was sold at the NH state Liquor & Wine Outlet on the Portsmouth Traffic Circle. It was purchased by a woman from Colorado who went to the Ambetter 301 NASCAR race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon.
