The Hampton Police Department is investigating a series of alleged mailbox vandalizations that occurred on Christmas Day, according to a Facebook post.

Hampton police alleges that multiple mailboxes were vandalized in the area of Little River Road, Woodland Road and Mace Road, per the post. Police said initial evidence suggested an individual on foot is responsible for damaging the mailboxes between 11 p.m. on Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday.
