Forbes is back out with its billionaires list, and one Mainer and two New Hampshirites made the list.
No, you did not make the list again. But according to Seacost Online, the rich seem to be getting richer.
There are over 3,000 billionaires in the world, and 3 are in Maine and New Hampshire
For the first time, billionaires are over 3,000. It was a good year for the 247 people who joined what was once an exclusive club. With some dropping off the list, there are 288 new faces to join the ranks.
Rick Cohen, New Hampshire - Worth $12 billion

Rick Cohen is the owner and executive chairman of C&S Wholesale Grocers, which just happens to be the country's biggest grocery wholesaler, according to Forbes. He is the 199th richest person in the world. No, there's not that much money in groceries. Most of his money comes from being the chairman and CEO of Symbotic, a warehouse company that has a sweet deal with Walmart to automate its 42 regional distribution centers. He lives in Keene, New Hampshire.
Alexander Karp, New Hampshire - Worth $8.2 billion
I love his hair. Alexander is the cofounder and CEO of Palantir Technologies. That is a data mining firm and does contract work with places like the Department of Defense, the FBI and the Danish National Police. He got backing early on from the CIA, according to Forbes. He lives in Lyman, New Hampshire.
Susan Alfond, Maine - Worth $3.5 billion
Susan Alfond is the heiress of the Dexter Shoe Company. She inherited her money. Forbes said,
Her father Harold Alfond, bought an old mill in Maine in 1958 and turned it into a shoemaker that sold millions of boots and casual shoes. In 1993 Harold sold the company to Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway for $420 million of stock; the shares are worth billions of dollars now.
