When anyone is diagnosed with cancer, no matter what kind or how "easy" it is to cure, it's very scary to go through.  Having said that, as we all know, there are all kinds of cancer.  Some are easier to cure or put in remission than others.  Whatever the case may be, New Englanders ought to feel especially lucky to have three of the nation's best cancer hospitals in the Bay State.  This is the latest 2024/2025 data.

Usnews.com has ranked the top 50 hospitals from approximately 886 across the country.  If you want to know how they ranked the hospitals, click here for more information.

Coming in a #4 is Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, Massachusetts.

Dana Farber is a teaching hospital for Harvard Medical School, specifically for cancer.  I am reading a book about doctors and hospitals, and you definitely want to go to the hospital that does certain procedures every day.

Coming in at #11 is Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.

Massachusetts General Hospital is also on the honor roll.  It is a general medical and surgical facility, and also serves as a teaching hospital, like Dana-Farber.

Coming in at #18 is Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts.

Beth Israel is also a teaching hospital.  A few months ago, it was announced that Dana-Farber is going to work with Beth Israel for a brand-new, free-standing hospital for adults with cancer.  Dana-Farber had a collaboration with Brigham & Women's Hospital for decades until this was announced, according to CBS Boston.

What hospital do you choose to go to?  I have no loyalty to any hospital when it comes to medical care, and really neither should you.  It's your health, right?  You gotta do what's right for you.
