Pat's World Famous Not Opening This Summer

No hot dog for you!

Hampton Beach is Home of the Lobster Dog

If you've never had a Lobster Dog from Pat's World Famous, I'm afraid you'll have to wait until another day.  Pat's isn't opening this summer.

From Pat's Facebook page, it looks like they are opening up at another location in the future, but it won't be this season.

Pat's World Famous in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire, Won First Place

Remember when Pat's World Famous won FIRST PLACE at the Seafood Festival for their chowder?  I sure do.  The competition is fierce (as anyone who has ever entered it knows), so to win that is truly a feather in their cap.  Here's the guy responsible for the chowder – my brother, John Sullivan – on the right. He's the O.G. Yankee Chef, and that guy on the left is his son (my nephew), Patrick Sullivan.

Over the last five years, Pat, his wife Alex, and my brother John have worked really hard.  I don't remember all the staff's names, but they were right there sweatin' and making those dogs as well, especially when it came to the Seafood Festival.

That's Alex, Patrick's beautiful wife and co-owner of the Buff & File Nail salon.

Both Patrick and Alex are very hard workers, so I can't wait to see what is next.  My family has an incredible work ethic, and if Pat says there's something bigger and better, you better hold on to your seat, because the LOBDOG will ride again!

Did you ever have a Lobster Dog from Pat's?  I really want one. Right. Now.
