If I had to name one Facebook group you need to join if you live on the Seacoast, it would be Seacoast Eats. 90% of the restaurants I try are because I saw someone post about it on Seacoast Eats.

I love this group, because people keep things super positive. It is not a place to go to bash a restaurant. If you have constructive criticism, save it for the Yelp review.

It's all about giving love and spreading the word about local spots. There are so many amazing mom-and-pop shops that might not all have a huge social media presence or extensive marketing team. Nothing beats word-of-mouth recommendations, and that's exactly what happens in this group. Real people share their real experiences, and it makes other people want to experience these places too!

Shauna Bailey recently posted about a place that I, admittedly, had never heard of, but have since added to my "must try" list.

Coffee Craving in Lee is a slice of local heaven. It's on 125 as you head towards Epping, and they rotate their specials regularly:

The coffee is fresh, and they make hot donuts to order. *INSERT DROOL EMOJI HERE* Shauna had a large iced cinnamon toast crunch latte, and called it "Dang delicious!"

You had me at fresh, WARM donuts.

Phantom Gourmet also endorses this fine establishment:

Give Coffee Craving a follow on Facebook, and give them a try next time you are cruising down Calef Highway.
