If you know me, you know that I love food.  Wait... let me clarify, I love GOOD food.  If there is a food that I want to eat and I know it's probably not low in calories, it's got to be really good and worth the hit I might get on the scale.

I will admit, Pizza is usually NOT on that list.  It's just not one of my 'things,' you know?  BUT, this Concord, NH pizza place has me intrigued for several reasons and here's why.

New Hampshire Celebrity Chef Says 'Just Go Eat Here' About This Pizza Place

Okay, when a guy that makes some of the best food in America tells you to go eat this pizza, you go.  Bobby Marcotte, Celebrity Chef who has won trophy after trophy for his delicious food, posted on Sour Joe's Pizzeria's Facebook page.  Here's what he had to say:

Just go eat here.. the dough is seriously legit.. only complaint would be the hours to go + get it but that’s only out of jealousy that they don’t have to work nights + I do..
Sour Joe's Pizzeria is located at 5 Pleasant Street Extension, Concord, NH.  Their hours are:
  • Tuesday – Thursday 11 – 3
  • Friday & Saturday 11 – 7
Can you imagine how they must have felt?  Bobby "the Butcher" Marcotte, who has worked with some of the best chefs in the world, including Guy Fieri, said that we should go to this place for pizza.  I'm there!
Here are some other comments from their Facebook page:
Some of the best pizza in New Hampshire, an incredible crust and perfectly cooked with great ingredients! The hot honey pepperoni is wilddd good.
Absolutely delicious pizza. Best we have had in NH!
We stopped in for a quick slice. I ordered the Fungi and it was incredible! The crust had a great texture and taste and the toppings were a yummy combination.

I admit, the pictures of this pizza is what's really selling it for me.  This sweet concoction has me intrigued.  It's their classic sourdough base with creamy taro, matcha whipped cream, sweet coconut and fresh strawberries.

Every Pizza This NH Pizzeria Place Makes is From Their Own Sourdough Starter

Their website states that "good things come to those who wait."  The crust is thin and airy and they don't rush the process.
