Over the weekend, a New Hampshire State Trooper in Hill was monitoring traffic when a truck sped by doing 82 in a 50-mile-per-hour zone. The truck pulled over.
Other than going very fast…nothing out of the ordinary. But then things got interesting.
After the officer turned on her lights, the truck pulled over…then did a “burnout” in the middle of the road, and took off. And suddenly, we had a high-speed chase in New Hampshire.
The pursuit continued on several different roads in Hill until finally, the truck crashed into a snowbank and came to a stop. Crazy, right? It gets crazier.
From there, the driver took off on foot before finally being taken into custody. After which he posed for a mugshot that will live in infamy:
That's the first time I've seen someone's clothes enter a plea.
But police aren’t quite satisfied. The suspect was charged with: operating after certification as habitual offender, reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, possession of a controlled drug, deal/possession of prescription drugs, resisting arrest/detention, reckless operation, disobeying a police officer, and having an unregistered vehicle.
That’s a lot of t-shirts!

And if you’re planning to speed, maybe consider a more sympathetic t-shirt. Such as:
I really have to pee!
My dogs get scared when I’m not home!
At least I didn’t rob a New Hampshire bank dressed as a tree!
