It's back, and we're so ready.

On the first full weekend of August each year, the Suncook Valley Rotary hosts a free, family-friendly hot air balloon rally. The long-anticipated weekend is almost here, and this year's 41st Annual Suncook Valley Rotary Hot Air Balloon Rally will be tomorrow through Sunday, August 4-6.

While you unfortunately won't be able to ride up in the hot air balloons, there are still plenty of things you and your family can do in addition to gazing at the colorful aircrafts taking off into the sky.

According to the event's Facebook page, visitors will be able to enjoy "food and other vendors, a craft fair, activities for kids, a 5k Road Race, helicopter rides, fireworks and more!" This sounds like such a pleasant and fun way to kick off the last full month of summer, and temperatures seem to be in our favor as well. You can check out the full schedule of events here.

Here's a look at the balloons you'll get to see.

Parking is also available at multiple locations in town, some of which will have shuttle services available. Here's more information on the logistics below.

Please note that the rally's events are weather-dependent, according to the Facebook page. The balloon pilots will have to double-check conditions before choosing whether or not to take off.
