Holy dream house.
This home is likely my favorite home in New England. I know, that seems like a bold statement, but I mean it fully.
When you see the below pictures of this place, you will understand why this is the best house in New Hampshire, if not all of New England.
This is rustic meets treehouse meets well crafted masonry and stone work meets wide open, gorgeous views of Merrymeeting Lake in New Durham.
The home is listed by Joy Messineo of Maxfield Real Estate/Wolfeboro.
The house features 20 foot windows, a three-story stone fireplace, and a "bird house" room, according to the listing. The birdhouse room has a gorgeous, hand-crafted stairway leading to a bedroom suite (the birdhouse). The balcony overlooks the lake, and offers incredible views.
This 4,415 square foot hosting home features four bedrooms and six bathrooms. It also includes an in-law suite complete with a kitchenette, balcony, and private entrance.
The home is to die for. I think my favorite feature is the stairwell inside the house. The stonework is so perfectly done.
I think the "bird house" room is my next favorite feature. It is held up, seemingly so, by a tree trunk inside the living room.
The craftsmanship in this well designed, circular, incredible house is outstanding. You really have to see the home to believe it.
