Looks like Red Sox fans will have to wait just one more day.

Opening day festivities will be held on Friday, instead of today, according to a report from WMUR.

Your ticket for today's game will be good for tomorrow's game too, so don't fret.  The game starts at 2:10 p.m., but the gates open at 12:10 p.m. and you should really be there when the gates open!

Our beloved Fenway will be limited to 12% capacity, but that still means that thousands of people will be there, about 4,500 fans.  4,500 people is going to look like NOTHING, as Fenway can hold about 40,000, at full capacity.

It sounds like it's going to be an amazing day.  Healthcare workers were invited to watch the game, there will be an F-15 flying over Fenway from Vermont's Air National Guard and a Tanker plane from Pease in New Hampshire!

Although it's a bummer that the game was postponed for today, it just prolongs the joy of opening day at Fenway Park.  It's a magical time to be alive when the crack of the bat finally returns to our beloved Fenway Park.  PLAY BALL!
