Teen Luring Reported in Merrimac, Massachusetts

Merrimac Police are investigating the report of the attempted luring of a 15-year-old teen on Sunday afternoon.

The teen was approached by a man driving a silver Toyota around 1:30 p.m. in the area of Pine and Church Streets, according to police chief Eric M. Shears. The man offered the teen a ride and money, which was refused. The man then drove off to the north towards New Hampshire, according to Shears.

Shears described the man as a white male in his 20s with bleach blonde hair wearing a multi-colored, vertical striped tank top with stud earrings. The Toyota had black rims and New Hampshire plates.

Shears asked anyone with information about this incident to call Merrimac Police at 978-346-8321.
