Tewksbury, MA Country Club Sold to Local Brewery: 35 Weddings Cancelled

It was just another day at the Tewksbury Country Club.
That is until current owner, Marc Ginsberg, learned Tree House Brewing Company of Charlton, MA was interested in purchasing the country club, including the nine-hole golf course.
Tree House Brewing Company is growing quickly and needed to expand, so they looked for a beautiful space with room for the brewery, beer hall, and retail space.
The golf course was a bonus, and one they will keep intact.
According to the Lowell Sun, Ginsberg and his family say they weren't looking to sell, but the offer by the brewery would keep the integrity of the country club property, so it was right.
Try telling that to the 35 weddings set to take place at the Tewksbury Country Club in 2023, which are now cancelled. With usually a two year waiting list for many wedding venues, how many brides are scrambling now, and probably panicking?
This is where wedding planning creativity comes into play. It can happen to anyone, so you have to let it go and find a new location that's more solid.
Try a state park, vineyard, or a large private home as a solid choice as your Plan B for a wedding venue. Think outside the box.
Meanwhile, the community is grateful for the Ginsberg family's dedication to the Tewksbury community, with comments on Facebook like this:
"Much joy, happiness, and relaxation in your retirement and future endeavors. We look forward to meeting the team at Tree House Brewing. All the best to you. Thanks doesn’t say enough for all you have done for this town and it’s people."
Welcome, Tree House Brewing, and thanks for the memories TCC.
