I've been trying to figure out how to establish the most Instagrammed place in the Granite State for a while, but without spending hours on the social media site, I wasn't sure how to go about it.

Then in comes the tourist website floridapanhandle.com, and does the work for me.

The site has studied the most "Instagrammable" locations in each state by analyzing  hashtags and attractions in every state.

Where are the most Instagrammable places in the United States?

In New York State, the most "hashtagged" spot is Central Park, but I would have guessed the Empire State Building (although it did earn an honorable mention).

In Vermont, the most "instagrammable" spot is not the obvious choice of a covered bridge.  It was the massive Lake Champlain.  I was wrong again, but what a beautiful lake.

Florida's most hashtagged attraction is easy to guess.  Yes, we did get that one right.  It's Walt Disney World.

So, let's look at the Granite State.  What do you think is the most hashtagged location in all of New Hampshire?

There are many breathtaking places for photos in New Hampshire

It could be Portsmouth's idyllic harbor, or the Glen Ellis Falls in Jackson, or the Arethusa Falls in Hart, or maybe the Flume Gorge in Franconia Notch?  All of these are spectacular locations in the Granite State, but according to floridapanhandle.com, the most hashtagged and Instagrammable spot in New Hampshire is Mount Washington.

I know that conjures up some very cold thoughts, as it's often the coldest place in America.  However, at 6,228 feet, the Mount Washington Summit has sensational views when it's not cloud-covered.

In fact, Columnist David Brooks says  that when driving up the Mount Washington Highway, you can't see the view 60% of the time because of the clouds. So, 40% of the time, you can see that stunning view, but it's still worth the hike, drive, or Cog Railway ride up to the summit.

If you're not feeling like taking the drive, why not check out the Mount Washington webcams?
