A beer festival but make it family-friendly… That’s what the Animal Welfare Society in Kennebunk is doing next week with their third-annual Woofstock. An afternoon full of live music, good food, craft beer, activities, and four-legged friends is how a Saturday in Maine should be spent.
Animal Welfare Society Woofstock Festival
After a two-year break due to obvious reasons, the Animal Welfare Society is finally bringing back their Woofstock festival, Southern Maine’s only family-friendly and dog-friendly food and beer festival.
This is a FREE event and it will be held rain or shine at the Animal Welfare Society campus at 46 Holland Road in Kennebunk on Saturday, July 30. From 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., the AWS campus will be filled with live music from two local bands, temporary tattoos, hula demos, and a bounce house for the kiddos; wading pools and indoor agility courses for the doggos, and a beer garden and food trucks for the parents.
Learn about different craft beers in the area by purchasing tasting tickets to sample offerings from 14 craft breweries and fill up your belly from one of the dozen food trucks on site. There will also be vendors selling pet-related products, services, and more so you can give your four-legged friend some extra loving on an especially fun day.
