I have been called an adventurous eater, and always take it as a compliment. I love trying new things from different regions of the world.

One of my favorite things about living in Portsmouth is that it is a foodie town! We have so many different types of cuisine readily available. These places are super authentic. I've had Nepalese food at Durbar Square, excellent Greek food at Habibi Mediterranean Cafe, and Vietnamese food at Nikki’s Banh Mi, which is located inside the Darlene’s Sub Shop!

Nikki's Banh Mi has fantastic sandwiches, egg rolls, and Vietnamese wings. You really can't go wrong.

Yesterday as I was going to pick up pizza from Luigi's, another one of my favorite Portsmouth spots, I saw that Darlene's and Nikki's Bahn Mi will be moving right next door (where Hong Kong Express was for 24 years)!

Today (April 22nd) is the last day you can go in and grab food at the old location at 697 Islington St in Portsmouth. They will be closed for a little while until their grand reopening event at their new location. Follow them on FB for all of the updates, and load up on their mango sticky rice while you can!
