Adrenaline Rush: Jet Cars Under the Stars Happening in Epping, NH

Get your adrenaline rush during the New Hampshire Lottery Jet Cars Under the Stars event next month at New England Dragway in Epping.

Lottery and dragway officials announced on Wednesday that the popular family event will take place on Saturday, July 31. Tickets cost up to $40.

"To enter to win tickets for an epic night with your family, tell us what your racing nickname would be if you raced dragsters! Comment below by noon tomorrow, June 25, and we’ll randomly select and announce 30 winners to win five tickets each on Saturday, June 26," lottery officials posted on social media.

The event features not just jet cars, but jet trucks as well. This video is of Shockwave at the dragway last August. It will be back for this event.

Some of the vehicles can do wheelstands.

This is Nitro Mike, who drives a PT Cruiser. He was born and raised in Summerland, BC, in Canada.

According to his website, Nitro Mike is a welder and fabricator by trade. He has always owned and worked on fast cars, bikes, boats and sleds.

Jet Cars Under the Stars is presented by O'Reilly Auto Parts.

Spectator gates open at 10 a.m. The main show begins at 6 p.m.
