I was driving back to the office on a bright sunny day with my co-worker, gliding down Middle Road in Dover, when simultaneously we both did a double-take.

We had just passed a home with more golf clubs than we'd seen in one place in a long time.  Yes, I said golf clubs, bags, balls, shag bags, head covers, tees, divot tools, ball markers, you name it.

The sign out front said "Garage Sale", and the guy known as "Golfer Man" greeted us cheerfully. He said his name was John, and he collects golf equipment and nostalgic golf paraphernalia.  He has some really cool items.

John has been part of a number of charity events at his golf club, raising money for the Down Syndrome Foundation, and other charitable fundraisers with the club.

John is an affable guy with penchant for all things golf.

Check out all these clubs in his garage for only $10 each.  Head covers are only $5.  Some of the bags are well-used, while others are like new.  Make him an offer!  He's selling full sets as well as individual clubs.

If you have a beginner golfer or a hacker in your household, this is the place to start. You can get a great deal on all kinds of used equipment.  Some of the stuff is like new, which seasoned golfer will appreciate.

Need golf balls? Golfer Man has them.  So, you like to hit balls in the yard but don't want to keep losing your more expensive balls?  Check out his deals.  He has ladies clubs, too.
