Remember James Dobson?  Chances are, if you ever met James, you never forgot him.

James Dobson, originally from Berwick, Maine, left on October 1, 2018, from Dover on a bike headed for San Diego. His goal was to raise money for CHaD in Hanover, and he had named his trek the POSITIVE VIBES TOUR.

His goal was to raise at least $10,000 for the hospital.

Unfortunately, while he was biking in Mississippi, he was hit from behind and died instantly.

James' journey will continue.  His Mother, Cindy Dobson, will be leaving on November 14, 2021, in an RV.

She will be driving to Mississippi, where James was killed, then biking from there.  Cindy will have 1,900 miles to go before she reaches San Diego.

She does have someone going with her and help mapping out her route.

Cindy and James have already raised $132,000 for CHaD, and Cindy is planning on raising more during her trip.

Cindy is looking for an RV right now, so if you know of anyone who would like to donate one or funds for her trip, contact sarah.sullivan@townsquaremedia.com and I will pass along Cindy's contact information.

I can't imagine Cindy's pain, but I am so hopeful that this trip will be somewhat healing for her.  We will be following Cindy and updating this story from time to time.
