Taryn Merrill attended Johnson and Whales where she earned her degree in Baking and Pastry Arts. Since graduating, she has made her way around New England as a cake decorator and pastry cook. Now, she is an adjunct pastry professor at Lakes Region Community College!

Fresh AF Bakeshop is located out of her home in Newmarket but she has big dreams of renovating the barn on her property into a full-scale baking and teaching kitchen. I haven't had the pleasure of meeting Taryn just yet but I can just tell from her social media presence and website that she is both hard-working and talented. She's a go-getter and I love supporting local people like that.
