It's no secret that we have a loud and proud foodie population here in New England, and with good reason. Our restaurant industry is killing it, and there's never a shortage of new establishments opening their doors to the public. You can never run out of places to visit for your next dining experience, especially in Massachusetts.

One popular type of restaurant in the Bay State is diners.

When you hear 'diner', you probably think of the retro '50s ones straight out of Grease, complete with red cushions, checkered floors, and bar stools. Maybe you're thinking of milkshakes, burgers, or wearing a poodle skirt if you feel so inclined. Alternatively, atmosphere may not matter to you at all, and you're simply looking for a delicious breakfast.

Regardless, thanks to the website LoveFood and this list they shared, we now know the best diner in all 50 states. The verdict for Massachusetts? Drum, roll, please...

The Miss Worcester Diner in Worcester, Massachusetts

This writer's never been to the Miss Worcester Diner, but it's apparently got quite the stellar reputation. According to LoveFood, this popular 1940s diner not only has a great atmosphere and eats, but entire menus dedicated to egg dishes, French toast, and burgers. How awesome is that?
