New Hampshire Lottery Offering Scratch & Sniff Tickets to Win $10K Cash or a Year Supply of Bacon
Are you kidding me? Is this a bribe? If so, it might be working.
The New Hampshire Lottery is re-issuing scratch and sniff tickets that will SMELL LIKE BACON when you scratch them. Who came up with this idea? How clever! The promo reel for this is super cute too. Check it out here.
I admit, I am not a scratch ticket girl, but man, I am going to run to one of these retailers to get one, two or a few of these bacon scented bad boys. Why wouldn't you? I've never hear about them in my life!
NH Lottery Offering Bacon-Scented Scratch & Sniff Tickets at Select Retailers
Apparently, I'm late to the game. The lottery has issued these tickets before, but I was not aware of them until now. These tickets caused a viral sensation back in 2015.

The Executive Director of the Lottery said:
We’re always looking for fun ways to engage our players, and what could be more fun than the return of our bacon-scented scratch-n-sniff ticket? The real question is whether our players are more interested in the $10,000 cash prize or the chance to win a year’s supply of bacon?
Wait, what? You can win a year's supply of BACON? True statement. The bacon will come from North Country Smokehouse in Claremont.
Even NH Governor Kelly Ayotte is excited about this.
It's Time to Bring Home the Bacon, NH - Literally
The $2 'I Heart Bacon' ticket is already in a few select retailers across the Granite State. It looks like there is only one location on the Seacoast, the Common Man Roadside on Route 1 in Portsmouth.
Here's a complete list of retailers:
- Farmington House of Pizza, Farmington
- Circle K/Pleasant Street, Berlin
- Luigi’s Pizza Bar & Grill, Manchester
- Common Man Roadside, Hooksett Southbound
- Danbury Country Store, Danbury
- 3ZBoyzzz Deli & Market, Keene
- Common Man, Plymouth
- Common Man, Portsmouth
- Circle K/Dover Point Road, Dover
- Jeanotte’s Market, Nashua
- Flanagan’s South End Market, Concord
- Chester General Store, Chester
- Rusty Lantern, Loudon
Color me hog-tied. I'm really excited to go by my ticket just for the experience. A+, big kudos, etc., etc., to the person who thought this up. Genius marketing.
If you had to choose either the cash or the bacon, which would you choose? For me, it's a no-brainer. Bacon, bacon and more bacon. #iheartpigs
