With no winners in 34 straight drawings, the Mega Millions lottery jackpot has ballooned to $750 million. And one Seacoast location still holds a top-five spot for a high-cash lottery prize payout.

For those looking for a little extra luck in Friday's drawing, Hannaford in Raymond payed out $352 million in cash back in 2018. Moreover, these seven Seacoast locations have paid out lottery winners in recent months.

But for NH Lottery's big Mega Millions jackpot, which could be claimed Friday, a supreme winner could come away with a one-time cash payout of more than $550 million before taxes.

According to Patch.com, NH Lottery said Thursday that a player purchased a $20,000 Mega Millions ticket at the Hannaford Supermarket on Coliseum Drive in Nashua for the Tuesday drawing.

"Everywhere you go, people are talking about these Powerball and Mega Millions jackpots," Charlie McIntyre, the executive director of the New Hampshire Lottery, said via Patch. "You can feel the buzz and the excitement — it is incredible. Our sales figures speak for themselves, as players purchased more than $3.4 million in Powerball and Mega Millions tickets last week alone and we expect sales to continue to grow right along with these jackpots. Get your tickets now for two chances to win big."

There is also a Powerball drawing on Saturday worth $640 million that could have a one-time cash payout of $479 million, which is the ninth-highest jackpot in history.

The largest jackpot ever was a Powerball drawing worth more than $1.5 billion. That drawing was back in January 2016.
