An overturned tractor trailer closed a Maine Turnpike ramp on Tuesday morning.

Maine State Police said the driver of the tractor trailer suffered minor injuries when the vehicle went off the ramp for Exit 2 (Route 1,Route 236 and the Route 1 Bypass) around 8 a.m.

A heavy duty tow truck was on scene to help upright the truck.

The ramp remained closed as of 10 a.m., but was not causing any major delays.

Maine State Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
