Rochester Police Handing Out Dunkin’ Gift Cards For Acts of Kindness
The Rochester Police Department announced Wednesday it will be seeking out acts of kindness in an effort to distribute Dunkin' gift cards.
The department announced it is launching a "Campaign of Kindness" in response to the Rochester Police Benevolent Association receiving a generous donation of Dunkin' gift cards from Progressive Food Inc., per Rochester police.

According to a Facebook post from the department, officers will be on the "lookout for people doing the right thing, being kind to one another, helping their neighbors, or those who may be in need."
If spotted, the department says, you could be rewarded with a Dunkin' gift card.
"2020 has been a difficult year for many," the department wrote on Facebook. "The little acts of kindness we show towards one another could go a long way. We would like to thank Progressive Foods Inc./Dunkin for the donation and choosing us to spread this important message to our community."
Here was the rest of the department's post:
The Rochester Police Benevolent Association recently accepted a generous donation from Progressive Foods Inc. of Dunkin gift cards. The purpose for this donation is to have Rochester Police Officers give these gift cards back to the community!
We are calling it our “Campaign of Kindness”. Rochester Police Officers will be on the lookout for people doing the right thing, being kind to one another, helping their neighbors, or those who may be in need. If spotted, your actions may be rewarded with a gift card to Dunkins!
