One man was fatally shot at a home near Route 1 in Seabrook, another hospitalized and the third the subject of a search Monday morning.

Senior Assistant Attorney General Benjamin Agati during a press briefing Monday afternoon said police were called to a house on Boynton Lane just after 9 a.m. and found a man dead in the driveway and a second with a gunshot wound.

The search is on for a third man who allegedly ran from the front of the house promoting a search.

All three people involved in the shooting have been identified, according to Agati,  but no one has been charged.  Hampton Police earlier said a suspect was in custody.

The second man was hospitalized in critical condition as of Monday afternoon.

Formella believed it was a "contained scenario." He did not disclose a motive for the shoot or the identities of those involved but said they all knew each other and described them as "middle age men."

Seabrook schools and Winnacunnet High School in Hampton were on "secure campus" status on Monday morning along with Southgate Plaza on Route 1 during the search.
