An arrest warrant was issued Monday for a man who allegedly broke into a Dover apartment, got into a woman's bed and attempted to sexually assault her.

Dover Police said Donald Levier, 35, of Somersworth broke into a New York Avenue residence around 1:10 a.m early Monday and made his way to the bedroom. The woman told the man to leave.

Police said they were able to identify Levier as the suspect based on a description from the woman and other evidence. The warrant was issued after Levier was not at a Locust Street address where detectives thought he may have gone after the incident.

Levier is charged with burglary and attempted aggravated felonious sexual assault.

Dover Police asked anyone with information on Levier's whereabouts should contact them at 603-742-4646 or the Dover Crimeline at 603-749-6000.
