Nearby Crisis Intervention Puts Dover, New Hampshire, School on Lockdown
A Dover elementary school was placed on lockdown Tuesday morning when a nearby resident was having having a crisis.
Dover police requested that Garrison Elementary School be placed on lockdown around 8:35 a.m. while officers spoke to "an individual experiencing suicidal ideations" inside their home near the school.
A crisis team was able to resolve the condition and brought the individual to a hospital for help.
Normal activity resumed at the school just after 9 a.m.
