Massachusetts has some amazing downtown scenes throughout the state.

The Parrot Ave Parking lot in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, offers free parking for 72 hours and is walking distance from downtown Portsmouth. It certainly fills up in the height of tourist season and you might find yourself circling the lot in search for a spot. Also parking along Parrot Ave is free for 72 hours but the further you get down the longer of a walk it is to downtown. The time of day and weather might contribute to your decision on how far you are willing to walk.

Hearth Market in downtown Portsmouth, New Hampshire, is under fire for dispersing slips to their customers highlighting their "No Loitering" policy. They encourage customers to unplug from devices and enjoy their surroundings in the space and not post up for hours on end doing work.
