Many theaters across the country are participating in "National Cinema Day" on September 3 by offering moviegoers tickets for just $3. Maine and New Hampshire have plenty of theaters participating where you can see a movie for just $3.

Theaters Still Struggling

According to CNN, the movie industry has not been able to fully bounce back after the dip in attendance since the pandemic. Back to the Theater

In an effort to get more people to enjoy movies the way they were meant to be seen on the big screen, The Cinema Foundation based in Los Angeles has created National Cinema Day where participating theaters, for one day, offer $3 movie tickets for every movie they're showing, every showtime and every format from standard to IMAX.

The list of theaters may not be all-inclusive, so if you don't see your favorite theater, you might want to give them a call and ask if they are participating in National Cinema Day with $3 tickets.
