Hey Boo Boo, it looks like Yogi Bear has made his way to Jackson, New Hampshire. No, there were not any picnic baskets involved but there was still food. Just be warned that if you want to actually eat your lunch you may want to be careful how you leave your car.

Bears are out and they may get closer than you want, especially if you have some tasty food. Earlier this week, in Jackson, New Hampshire, one individual made the mistake of leaving their car unattended.

Leaving the car was not the only mistake they made, no, the biggest mistake was leaving the car windows open with a bag of McDonald's in the car. I'm sure you guessed it by now, one bear had a very filling lunch that day.

According to WMUR Channel 9, the driver was out eating breakfast at Yesterday's Restaurant, which is a valid reason to leave your car. However, I still question why they decided to leave the car windows down.

If you decide to leave food in your car, you may risk losing your food due to a bear eating it on top of your car's hood.

We know that there are bears in New England, so let's keep it a little safer for us and the bears. Make sure that your car doors are locked, windows are shut, anything that could be considered a tasty snack should be taken out of your car, and park somewhere safe.

If you choose to keep your windows open, the only thing I can say is to be careful what you keep in your car, especially if you are leaving it unattended.
