Troopers: 3 Drunk Drivers, 100+ mph Speeder Stopped During Saturation Patrol in NH
New Hampshire State Police pulled three potentially dangerous drivers off the road during a special saturation patrol on Friday.
Working with Seabrook police, a total of 108 motor vehicle stops were made resulting in 97 warnings and 11 citations handed out for various motor vehicle infractions.
Jolie Szczeback, 37, of Lulow, Mass., was charged with aggravated DWI with a passenger under the age of 16 and a second offense DWI.
Jonathan Dobson, 36, of Manchester, was charged with DWI and having a blood alcohol level of over .16.
Lubens Figaro of Everett, Mass., was charged with reckless operation after he was clocked at 115 mph on Route 95, according to state police officials.
All were both processed and released on personal recognizance bail pending appearances in the 10th Circuit Court – District Division – Hampton. The juvenile in Figaro's vehicle was released.
In the two weekends prior to Memorial Day, the State Police Special Enforcement Unit conducted two concentrated patrols.
116 stops were made in five hours on Route 95 with 56 motorists stopped for speed violations in excess of 90 miles per hour on May 16. Ten motorists were issued a summons for reckless operations after being clocked at traveling over 100 miles per hour, including three in excess of 115 miles per hour.
The following weekend, during two separate details, police made 60 stops on Route 95 in Hampton Falls and 50 on Route 93 in Bow. 40 drivers were stopped for doing at least 90 miles per hour including nine clocked at over 100 miles per hour.
