A fire in a building at an apartment complex shut down Henry Law Avenue in Dover on Monday afternoon.

The Facebook group NH Statewide Fire Alerts said smoke was  coming from the eaves of one the eight buildings that make up the Dover Bluff Apartments complex which is set away from the road.

Barrnington, Durham, Newmarket and Somerworth are all responding to the fire, according to NH Statewide Fire Alerts.

The city of Dover said on its Twitter account that Henry Law Avenue from Hanson Street to Paul Street, is closed to all through traffic.

A Red Flag Warning was in effect on Monday thanks to dry and windy conditions which have created ideal conditions for the fast spread of wildfire.
