Dover, NH Man Crashes Through Front of Starbucks Store, Cops Say
A Dover man was charged with driving while intoxicated after police say he drove through the front of a Starbucks in Hooksett early Sunday morning.
Hooksett police say Ashlin Turner, 41, of Dover, was driving a 2013 Subaru FR- S around 12:50 a.m. south on Hooksett Road (Route 28) when he crossed the median and struck street signs before crossing into the northbound lane.
Police said Turner continued through the parking lot of Starbucks and drove through the front door.
Turner was examined by the Hooksett Fire Department. He had minor injuries, according to police.
No one else was in the car and the location was closed and unoccupied at the time of the crash, according to police.
Turner showed signs of impairment and was charged and arrested with DWI after taking a field sobriety test, according to police, who said he would not take a breath test.
Turner received personal recognizance bail and will be arraigned in the Hooksett Circuit Court on September 23.
