Dump Truck Overturns in Exeter, NH, Causes Power Outage

A dump truck overturned and took down power lines on Epping Road in Exeter, causing a small power outage.

Exeter Police said the dump truck overturned on Epping Road at Blue Hawk Drive and brought down power lines. Photos show that a utility pole was also brought down.

The driver of the truck was not injured and no other vehicles were involved.

It wasn't clear if the dump truck was carrying a load at the time. An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances of the overturn.

The crash also caused a small power outage, according to Unitil's outage map.

On its outage map, Unitil estimated that restoration could take until at least 4:30 p.m. on Monday afternoon. Potentially strong thunderstorms with gusty winds and downpours could delay repairs.
