8:30 p.m. UPDATE: State Police said John Camire was safely located.

A Silver Alert was issued Wednesday afternoon for an 81-year-old Exeter man who did not return from a doctor's appointment.

New Hampshire State Police said John Camire left his home on Poplar Street around 9:30am in a blue Ford Ranger pickup truck with veteran license plate 321 for the appointment in Manchester .

As of 5pm, he did not return home.

Camire has the onset of dementia, according to his family.

He is described as 5 feet 10 inches and 200 pounds with white hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a green t-shirt that says "Army," and green shorts.
