Firefighters Quickly Knock Down Newfields, New Hampshire, Building Fire
Firefighters knocked down a fire at a commercial building early Wednesday morning.
A fire alarm went off at the building on Exeter Road around 1:30 a.m. Crews from Newfields, Exeter, and Newmarket encountered heavy smoke and flames in the rear of the building housing Hutchinson Sealing Systems, according to the Newfields Fire Department.
Newfields firefighters made the initial attack into the building and quickly extinguished the flames. Exeter provided interior resources, and Newmarket crews were assigned to the roof.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
