Hampton Beach NH Seafood Festival Return a Success (PICTURES)

After being canceled in 2020 because of the coronavirus pandemic the Hampton Beach Seafood Festival returned with perfect weather.

"I think it was a success. The weather was great, the shows were great, I don't think there were any major upsets," Hampton Village Precinct Chairman Chuck Rage told Seacoast Current of the 32 anniversary event.

A figure on the amount raised for how much was raised for the Knights of Columbus, ROTC and the Chamber of Commerce in ticket sales was not yet available on Monday morning.

Runner Up-Bud’s Roast Beef

Non Seafood:
1-Shane’s Texas Pit BBQ, Hampton NH
Runner Up- JR’s Famous Steak & Seafood

Chowder:
1-Pat’s World Famous, Hampton NH
Runner Up- Rye Harbor Lobster, Rye NH

Bisque:
1- Rye Harbor Lobster, Rye NH
Runner Up-Old Salt at Lamie’s Inn, Hampton

Fried Food:
1-St James Lodge, Hampton NH
Runner Up- JR’s Famous Steak & Seafood

Lobster Roll:
1-Brown’s Lobster Pound, Seabrook NH
Runner Up- Rye Harbor Lobster, Rye NH

The Lobster Roll Eating Contest:
1st- Manny Cambra, Middleton CT ( he is the returning champion from 2019. He ate 22 lobster rolls in 10 minutes)
2nd- Nate Gayman, Wakefield MA
3rd- Chris Thurston, Somersworth NH.
