Despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, many Americans still appear to be traveling for the holidays.

More than 5 million people passed through the nation’s airport security checkpoints between Friday and Tuesday, according to the Transportation Security Administration.

While that number is down 60% from this time last year, it still displays a great number of people going ahead with holiday travel despite warnings from the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention.
