A man who allegedly drove a car through an exterior wall at Town Fair Tire in Rochester was arrested on Saturday.

According to police, emergency rescue crews were called to the business on North Main Street at about 5 p.m.

When they arrived, a blue 2006 Honda Accord was completely inside the business. No employees were present or harmed.

Aaron Shackelford, 29, of Rochester, who police officials say was the driver of the Honda, was located along Ten Rod Road. He had sustained minor injuries and was transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital.

Shackelford was charged with driving while intoxicated as well as conduct after an accident. He was placed on a probation hold and transported to Strafford County House of Corrections in Dover

On Monday, a person who answers phones for the company said Town Fair Tire on North Main Street was closed. That location is expected to reopen on Tuesday at 8 a.m.
